Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

• Soldier General Duty: Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system minimum of ‘D’ grade (33-40) in individual subjects OR grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
• Soldier Technical: 10+2/Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject
• Soldier Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant Veterinary: 10+2/Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry , Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject
• Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical/Inventory Management: 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce & Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Account/Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
• Soldier Tradesman (10th Pass): Class 10th simple pass. No stipulation in aggregate  percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject
• Soldier Tradesman (8th Pass): Class 8th simple pass (For Syce, House Keeper & Mess  Keeper). No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
• Soldier Pharma: 10+2/Intermediate exam pass and qualified in D Pharma with minimum 55% in aggregate and registered with State Pharmacy Council/Pharmacy Council of India.  Individuals qualified in B Pharma with minimum 50% marks and registered with State Pharmacy Council/ Pharmacy Council of India will also be eligible

Age limit

• For Soldier Pharma: Between 19 years to 25 years
• For Soldier General Duty: Between 17.5 years to 21 years
• For other: Between 17.5 years to 23 years

Selection Process

• Final Selection will be based on Physical Fitness Test, Medical Test and written exam

servant is allowed to avail of LTC once in a block of two years to visit his/her hometown, while LTC to any place in India can be availed once in a four-year block. If not availed during these blocks, the LTC may also be availed in the first year of the following block.

According to the definition of family as given under rule 4, which is applicable, in travel inter alia, for the purpose of admissibility of LTC, the family of a Government servant includes wife or husband, as the case may be, residing with the Government servant and children residing with and wholly dependent upon the Usually LTC can be availed twice in a block of a four calendar years. Current block of years will be as below. 2014-2017 (From 1st January 2014 to 31st December 2017). As said above you can claim only twice in a block of 4 years period.

According to the existing position where both husband and wife are Governmrart servants and are residing together, they constitute one family unit for the purpose of LTC and only one of them can claim this concession and the other spouse travels as a member of, his/her family.

NEW DELHI: A new alternative to plastic bottles has been discovered by Khadi Rural Industries while the campaign is going to launch a campaign to stop the use of 'single use plastic' in the country from October 2, Gandhi Jayanti. Bamboo bottles are now made as an alternative to plastic bottles. That is why bamboo bottles will be used instead of plastic bottles for drinking water.
The MSME ministry is also promoting the production of bamboo bottles. Union MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari recently launched this bottle of bamboo in a program Kannada Kaikeyi. These bottles can also be used easily at home. The capacity of this bottle ranges from 750ml to 1 liter and it starts at Rs300. The one-liter conidia lacquer bottle costs Aquila Rs 560. Bamboo Bottles Will Never Be Bad This bottle will never be bad for Aquila. The water in this bottle will also be natural. Caned lactic water of bamboo is also good for health. The Kuldi Khadi Village Commission has already made preparations against the use of plastic. The earthen pot has been started by Commissioner Kanidai Lakiye. Over 1 crore kuldi has been prepared. New Employment Opportunity for the People Kannada Village Lakhi, a Khadi village, said this initiative has created a large number of people. With the introduction of clay ants and bamboo bottles, the Kennedy Lakiyas, who are associated with the area, are getting a lot of employment. Even new people are joining the field now.
